<image:title>Blog - No Ring, No Problem: How to Book Your Maldives Honeymoon Solo - Travel Logistics Made Easy ✈️ Visas: None required for most nationalities (yay!). Travel insurance: Always a good idea, especially for something this far-flung. Flights: You’ll fly into Malé (the capital). From there, most resorts arrange your transfer — either a seaplane ✈️ or a speedboat depending on the island’s location. If you’re staying somewhere like Komandoo, you’ll probably get a seaplane transfer that lands you either directly at your resort or on a floating platform in the middle of the ocean (yes, really). From there, a boat whisks you away. It sounds wild, but trust me — it’s an experience in itself and one of the most surreal, fabulous “I can’t believe I’m here” moments of the trip. ✨ Tip: Pack patience for travel days. Between international flights, seaplanes, and boats, it can easily take 24–30 hours door to door. But the payoff? You’ll soon find out…</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - No Ring, No Problem: How to Book Your Maldives Honeymoon Solo - Do a solo photoshoot at the resort’s most picturesque spots using a tripod or the resort photographer. Or, if you’re like me, get resourceful — prop your phone against a wine bottle, switch it to video, and screenshot your best moments later. (Honestly, I should post a tutorial for that one. )</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Honeymoon, Party of One - And that dinner? That was the ultimate test. The restaurant had ten tables: nine set for couples and one—for me. My insecurities came rushing in. I wanted to bury myself in my phone, but cell service doesn’t reach 5.8 meters under the sea. So my only option was to be fully present—with myself, and with the fish swimming around me.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Doing It All Is Exhausting. Choosing Grace Is Better. - Every day becomes a ritual of boxes to tick, as if completing them might finally make you whole: warm lemon water first thing in the morning, vitamins, collagen, makeup, hair styling, stretching, the gym, meditation, nightly retinol—oh, and don’t forget all the while being a good employee, a good friend, a good daughter, a good girlfriend, maybe even a good wife. And for some women, as if that’s not already enough pressure, being a good mother too. (I truly don’t know how you all do it. I can hardly take care of myself, let alone a tiny human.) It’s like a never-ending audition for “perfect woman,” and honestly? It’s fucking exhausting.</image:title>
<image:caption>She looks like she has it all together… turns out, she doesn’t.</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - Doing It All Is Exhausting. Choosing Grace Is Better. - And that’s when it hit me: isn’t it wild how easily we admire others, yet refuse to see how incredible we are ourselves? As I rattled off everything I’ve been juggling: work, French lessons, my blog, lifting, running, it dawned on me. If someone else told me this was their life, I’d be like, “Wow, this woman is killing it. She’s doing it all!” So why is it so hard to say that about myself?</image:title>
<image:caption>We’ll always believe our girlfriends are icons (and forget we’re icons too).</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - Doing It All Is Exhausting. Choosing Grace Is Better. - Here’s what I’m learning: the world won’t end if you skip the lemon water or show up with messy hair on that 9am Zoom. What matters are the lifelines. The little things that make you feel human again. For me this week, it was a trip to the dollar store where I bought an absurd amount of Halloween decor. Because sometimes the best antidote to overwhelm isn’t productivity… it’s plastic pumpkins.</image:title>

A quaint gem in the West Village serving Mediterranean-inspired dishes. Second time here and both times were amazing. The service is the only thing better than the food — plus, both times I was surprised with a complimentary dessert I didn’t ask for but oh-so-thankfully devoured. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places in NYC — Summer Edition ☀️ - 6. 4th of July Waterfront Day Party - Skyline, sunset, and beats: the holy trinity of NYC summer. You haven’t lived until you’ve danced at a day party on the East River. The music hits different when you’re surrounded by the buzz of the city, the sky shifting from blue to golden to fireworks-lit magic. Great beats, a gorgeous skyline, that golden-hour glow, it all collides into one of those nights you wish you could bottle up forever. <image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places in NYC — Summer Edition ☀️ - 5. Cabaret - Billy Porter. Enough said. The moment I found out he was starring in this Broadway classic, I knew I had to go and he was absolutely breathtaking. The theater itself was purpose-built for the show, with a stage in the center and seats wrapped all around, making you feel like you’ve stepped right into the nightclub. Beyond the spectacle, the message resonates so deeply with everything happening in the world right now. It’s theater at its best: immersive, timely, and powerful enough to make you forget life outside those walls.</image:title>

While most people make a beeline for Overstory, the restaurant downstairs is a destination in its own right. After months of trying to go, I finally made it, and it was worth every second. Manhattan stretched out in every direction, sparkling like the dazzling queen she is, while cocktails arrived like works of art and ice so crystal clear you can see right through it, (the El Bandito stole my heart). This was the New York experience of my summer, maybe of my life here so far. The next chapter of Phantom of the Opera left me absolutely speechless. I’m still getting chills thinking about it now. The production pulls you in from the first note and doesn’t let go, it’s haunting, immersive, and heartbreakingly beautiful all at once. I won’t spoil it for you (you’ll thank me later), but if you’ve ever wanted live Phantom? This is your chance. Tickets are still available for October and November — and trust me, you don’t want to miss out. <image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places in NYC — June Countdown ✨ - This month wasn’t about checking off every restaurant on my list or pretending life is perfect — it was about finding moments that reminded me exactly why I moved here in the first place. June tested me (losing a job will do that), but it also gave me so many little New York reminders that I’m right where I’m supposed to be - even if I don’t have it all figured out yet.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places in NYC — June Countdown ✨ - 10. Sadelle’s - SoHo brunch gem for feeling like that girl I decided to pop into this cute little SoHo spot after getting my hair done next door at Cutler. You know that feeling when you have a fresh cut and suddenly want to treat yourself like the lady of leisure you are? That was me. They’re known for their famous bagel tower and brunch spreads, but I was feeling a little more “Upper East Side lunch date” that day - so I ordered oysters and a chicken Waldorf salad. Both were fabulous. Sometimes you just need to remind yourself that you are that girl who takes herself out for oysters at 1 PM on a Friday.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places in NYC — June Countdown ✨ - 9. Sunset Boulevard - Nicole Scherzinger & Broadway magic I was actually lucky enough to see two Broadway shows this month - Operation Mincemeat was delightful in its own quirky way - but the minute Nicole Scherzinger stepped on stage as Norma Desmond, it was over. She was electric - every note, every glance, every dramatic moment was pure Broadway magic. I laughed, I gasped, I nearly stood up mid-show to give her a standing ovation. This production closes July 20th, so if you’re on the fence: run, don’t walk. There’s nothing like a Broadway night to make you fall in love with NYC all over again.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places in NYC — June Countdown ✨ - 8. Rosevale Cocktail Room - Pre-show martinis & girl dinner vibes This spot was an unexpected gem before my Broadway night out. I was early for Sunset Boulevard and needed a quick martini and a little snack - which turned into the best solo girl dinner: fries with multiple dipping sauces (yes, plural), salmon tartare cones, and the most decadent dirty martini with a blue cheese olive that came with a sidecar. But here’s what makes Rosevale unforgettable: the staff are absolute angels. When I accidentally walked out on my tab (mortifying, I know. I thought I’d paid!), they kindly texted me to come back, offered to hold me a table for after the show and reserved a spot for me to enjoy their live jazz music. I ended up making friends at the theater, dragged them along, and the staff got us a bigger table. 10/10 good vibes and hospitality.</image:title>

Soho House - Exclusive martinis & Sex and the City dreams Look, if you get the chance to be someone’s plus one at Soho House, you take it. This iconic members-only spot has been on my bucket list since I first dreamt of moving here. The martinis were divine (obviously), but it’s the people-watching and the feeling of slipping into a real-life episode of Sex and the City that makes it special. Everyone is impossibly cool and effortlessly chic. For a few hours, so are you. Here’s to manifesting my own membership card someday.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places in NYC — June Countdown ✨ - 6. Shinji’s - Decadent decor & next-level martinis Super unassuming from the outside, absolutely jaw-dropping on the inside - that’s Shinji’s. I’m talking decadent decor, low lighting, and the showstopper: a larger-than-life octopus installation that wraps along the wall. You almost forget you’re there for the drinks - until they arrive. My dirty martini came with powdered olives on the side (yes, you dip your finger in them like a snack — trust me, it works). They also have a hot-cold toddy shot, somehow both piping hot and ice-cold at the same time. Shinji’s is one of those places that makes you feel like you’ve unlocked a secret corner of the city.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places in NYC — June Countdown ✨ - 5. Martiny’s - Award-winning Japanese cocktail bar It should be obvious how a place called Martiny’s made this list! This cocktail bar is a masterclass in charm. Housed in a former carriage house from the 1800s, the exposed brick and cozy vibe feel so quintessentially New York. It’s no wonder it’s consistently on lists of the best bars in the world - their martinis are that good. Expect a wait, but it’s worth every second. You’ll want to linger, sip slowly, and make every moment last.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places in NYC — June Countdown ✨ - 4. Hawksmoor - A carnivore’s dream steakhouse This place has been on my NYC must-try list since day one. I finally got to sink my teeth into the experience — literally. The steak was seared and salty on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside. I’m pretty sure I blacked out for a second from pure joy. The vibe is classic steakhouse with a bit of that New York edge - perfect for a treat-yourself dinner or to impress your favorite carnivore. If you’re looking for a new spot for a celebration, Hawksmoor’s your place. I’m still daydreaming about that first bite.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places in NYC — June Countdown ✨ - 3. L’industrie Pizza - Iconic Brooklyn slice with the fam Another one that had been on my radar forever. When my parents came to visit, they obviously wanted “real New York pizza,” and I knew L’industrie was the one to try. Risky bringing first-timers somewhere I hadn’t vetted, but trust - this place lives up to the hype. I had a slice of their signature burrata pie (heaven) and split a fig, jam, and bacon slice with my parents because it looked too good to skip. Both were ridiculous in the best way. It’s easily the best NY slice I’ve had so far -don’t @ me, I still have a long list of NY pizza to get through, but I’ll be back here, no question.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places in NYC — June Countdown ✨ - 2. Daybreaker Heat Wave - Sober sauna rave & new friends This month was all about unique experiences, and Daybreaker was one for the books. Imagine: a sober rave inside a sauna - yes, you read that right - complete with breathwork in a steamy sauna room, ice bath plunges, and then dancing in bathing suits with the coolest crowd ever. Even better? I went with a random woman I met on Instagram (who has since become one of my good friends!) because she saw my April Top 10 list - talk about full circle! It was wholesome, sweaty, and so much fun. If you’ve never tried one of Daybreaker’s events, they do them all over the country, and I can’t recommend it enough. <image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places in NYC — June Countdown ✨ - 1. Fred Again Pop-Up - A spontaneous rave that healed my soul This was THE moment this month — the experience that reminded me exactly why I moved to New York. Picture this: I’m at the gym, feeling down about losing my job, the uncertainty of starting over in this city, and I’m blasting Fred Again. I remember seeing videos of his NYC pop-up last year and thinking, “God, I hope I’m lucky enough to experience something like that.” Hours later, I see him streaming on Twitch, announcing a last-minute show that night. Thousands of people scrambling for tickets and somehow, after hitting refresh 100 times, I got one. I sang, danced, laughed, cried - every emotion in one night. It was the best therapy session I could’ve asked for. Even if a pop-up rave isn’t your thing, take this as your sign: do something spontaneous on a random Tuesday night. It might just remind you exactly who the f*** you are.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Starting Over in NYC - An Era of Reinvention - When I imagined my New York debut, I pictured champagne, chic solo nights, and maybe a little chaos - but not this much. I didn’t picture getting let go from my job. I didn’t picture crying on my stoop. But here we are. And I’m still standing (in heels). I started this blog to share real, unfiltered experiences - to inspire other women by telling the whole story: the good, the bad, the scary, the thrilling, the highs, the lows, and everything in between. These past few weeks have been tough, and to be honest, I haven’t wanted to share any of it. But maybe sharing it is exactly how I start to heal. And if even one person reads this and feels seen, then I’ve already done what I set out to do. If you’ve ever had to make big changes, if life has thrown you a curveball or two, if you’re feeling a little lost - this one’s for you, babe.</image:title>

<image:caption>On your way back to the hotel, you detour for a celebratory glass of champagne — because what else does one do when they’ve just made it back to Paris? Your espresso has kicked in, and you raise your coupe to yourself: Cheers, babe. You’re here. Back at your hotel, slightly buzzed and fully giddy, you shower, slip into your pre-planned outfit, and add a swipe of red lipstick. You’re not just going out — you’re making an entrance.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Everyone claps. You grin like a kid at fireworks. You weren’t going to stay for the second show… but of course you do. One is never enough. This time, a photographer with lights and heart-shaped balloons approaches. You negotiate. You pose. You twirl. And you capture the main character moment. The Eiffel Tower sparkles again, somehow brighter than before. A street musician starts playing something soft and French on the trombone as you sip the last of your champagne. Voilà. Lights off. Magic made. You grab a late-night crepe and stroll home, smiling — with Nutella on your fingers and a little sparkle still in your soul.</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places I Loved in NYC This April (Food, Drinks & Hidden Gems) - 10. Gertrude’s – Latkes, martinis & cozy vibes This cute little neighborhood bistro in Prospect Heights is serving Jewish comfort food with a side of charm. The latkes? Crispy golden perfection. The martini? Smooth, classic, and topped with both an olive and a lemon twist (a combo I didn’t know I needed). The energy was laid back but intentional—the kind of place you stumble into one rainy day (like i did) and never want to leave.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places I Loved in NYC This April (Food, Drinks & Hidden Gems) - 9. Ursula – Juicy tacos & Bed-Stuy neighborhood love A cocktail bar slash restaurant tucked right in my new neighborhood of Bed-Stuy. Their all-day menu is casual but full of flavor, and the lamb carnitas tacos? I’m still thinking about them. They were recently brought back after being off the menu, and thank God, because I would’ve missed out on a top-tier taco moment. Cozy, low-key, and dangerously close to my apartment</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places I Loved in NYC This April (Food, Drinks & Hidden Gems) - 8. The Beekman Hotel Bar Room – Martinis & Manhattan grandeur A historic New York moment. Think: dim lighting, moody elegance, and the kind of space that makes you sit a little taller in your seat. I popped in for a martini and ended up soaking in the ambience like a scene out of an old movie. A perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink or a glamorous solo outing when you’re feeling that main character energy.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places I Loved in NYC This April (Food, Drinks & Hidden Gems) - 7. Nonna Dora’s – Affordable luxury & handmade pasta heaven I had a fabulous three-course dinner here for only $54—and it included handmade pasta, buffalo ricotta, and flavors that made me want to weep. (And yes, I’m still obsessed with mozzarella di bufala and all her dairy relatives.) Bonus: they do the same meal for just $38 at lunch. A total steal in NYC. This is that “treat yourself, but responsibly” spot I’ll be returning to again and again.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places I Loved in NYC This April (Food, Drinks & Hidden Gems) - 6. Saraghina – My first New Yorker meal: pizza dreams unlocked This one is sentimental. Saraghina was my very first meal as a Brooklynite, and it delivered. Napoli-style pizza done right, with that signature charred crust and—yes—mozzarella di bufala. The kind of pizza that makes you close your eyes for a second longer. A neighborhood classic with warm vibes and all the comfort.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places I Loved in NYC This April (Food, Drinks & Hidden Gems) - 5. Daniel – Dining like a duchess on the Upper East Side Daniel is legendary for a reason. From the moment I walked in, I felt like royalty. The service, the plating, the ambience—it was all perfection. It’s definitely on the splurge side of the spectrum, but worth every single dollar. This is not your casual Tuesday night pasta—this is your “I’ve arrived” dinner. And baby, I have arrived.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places I Loved in NYC This April (Food, Drinks & Hidden Gems) - 4. Bagel Pub – The bagel that set the bar My first real New York bagel experience had to be big—and Bagel Pub delivered. I went with an egg everything bagel (obviously) and jalapeño cream cheese, and I’ve been ruined ever since. I’ve been on a mission to find other amazing bagels, but this one set the bar high. A bagel so good, you contemplate moving in next door.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places I Loved in NYC This April (Food, Drinks & Hidden Gems) - 3. Salon on Kingston – Live Latin jazz & secret speakeasy energy This spot is unlike anything else on the list. Tucked away in Bed-Stuy, it’s an unassuming venue that doubles as a nonprofit art space. I stumbled in on a Thursday night and was lucky enough to catch a live Latin jazz band—and they were phenomenal. Drinks are simple and fairly priced, and the vibe is intimate, sexy, and full of soul. It felt like a little secret, and now I’m sharing it with you.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places I Loved in NYC This April (Food, Drinks & Hidden Gems) - 2. Bemelmans Bar – Iconic martinis & “I’ve made it” moments Bemelman’s Bar is one of those New York staples that lives up to the hype. The hand-painted murals by Ludwig Bemelmans. The live piano. The $45 martini with a sidecar that makes you feel like you’ve just signed a publishing deal. I sat at the bar alone and thought, “This is it. I’m really in New York now.” Timeless, fabulous, and totally worth saving for special occasions—or at least, special outfits.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Top 10 Places I Loved in NYC This April (Food, Drinks & Hidden Gems) - 1. Manhatta – Views, vibes, and a “Welcome to NY” fit for a queen From the second I walked into the building, Manhatta felt like a dream. The host welcomed me like a regular, the table was set with a “Welcome to NY” postcard (tears), and the food, wine, and service were flawless. And don’t get me started on the views—I mean, that skyline? I was floating. They even brought out a special “Welcome to NY” dessert at the end, and I nearly cried. It was one of the most thoughtful, elevated, and unforgettable experiences I’ve had. This will be my go-to place to wow visitors—and myself.</image:title>
